The flowers are hand painted. Sure is pretty for a botanical piece. This reminds me of Royal Worcester. Roses are even in the gold stenciled trim. Very fancy and nice. Some light use marks visible only after close scrutiny. item #jun041129 $20.00 Antique Mozart portrait plate by Oscar Schlegelmilch. Victorian German, Dates to the late 1890s, early 1920s. This scarce plate has areas of raised relief around the portrait. Gold trimmed with a floral design. Scalloped edges. Plate measures 10 inches in diameter. Lovely old plate. Please note, it is rare to have a man as the portrait in these old dishes. This is a portrait of MOZART. Back is marked, "St Kilian, Germany, LOS", with the Schlegelmilch figure in a circle. item #nov031301 sold ES RS Prussia Pot Pourri Vase 6 inch tall vase with optional lid. Use with lid for pot pourri, or without lid for flowers. Lid is actually from a bag mold mustard pot. The vase is a beautiful blue, with textured panels. The blue flowers on the vase are so sweet. This reminds me of some of the finer Oriental works, with the Prunus and Vine decorations.
