We adhere to these rules to help insure a happy transaction.

Condition of item is guaranteed to be as described.

Please realize most of our merchandise offered for auction is not new and has sometimes lived a long and eventful life. Every effort has been made to describe/show our items as accurately as possible including obvious flaws and repairs, which our eBay feedback indicates.

If you are buying RS Prussia, or other antique porcelain, there might be ASH SPECKS: These are very common in antique porcelain. Little black Ash specks happened during the firing process. The kilns were heated with wood back then, not electricity. We do not consider an ash speck a defect. We do not hide them. If an ash speck is going to bother you, please ask about any before bidding or buying.

We buy our merchandise at auctions, estate sales, and antique shops. We try to find antique and vintage items we think you will enjoy owning. We offer the items dusted and clean, but otherwise as found. We do not sell on approval. Always ask questions BEFORE bidding/buying to make it a happy transaction for all of us.

We want you to know what it is you are getting without having to assume anything.

If you do not ask questions, we reserve the right to believe that you are bidding on the item as shown.

All sales are final unless item is misrepresented.

If we really messed up: returns 

Sometimes we get a bit overloaded. We try to be as efficient as possible.

We can not be held responsible because it did not match your sofa. We have a 19"LCD monitor, and an up to date computer. If exact color, contrast or other unseen things are an issue with you, please ask about them. I was an art student and can further describe the color or take another picture for you.

If you buy clothing and textiles from us: All clothing and textiles are none returnable, due to the many allergies in our household. We have washed these clothing/items, and inspected them. Any spots and such are so noted. All clothing/textiles are being sold in used condition. All clothing/textiles will be wrapped in a plastic bag, then put in a mailer. The only way clothing/textiles can be returned is if we sent you something that was not what you bid on, and it has not been tried on.

If damaged or lost in transit, a claim must be filed with insured carrier for your refund. They broke or lost it, they pay actual price paid for insured item. So, save your auction page and packaging!

We will ship anywhere there is a post office!

Insurance is HIGHLY recommended, 1.30 minimum charge, and always offered on all items going to the USA.

Not responsible for uninsured items. Simply put: If you do not insure the item, there will be no refund if lost or damaged.

Items are carefully and professionally wrapped & packed. They are also inspected by us. Please keep in mind: We purchase most of our packing materials. We do recycle when appropriate, but you will never get a dish in a diaper. We wrap in the belief that someone will want this item for many years of enjoyment, and such care will be taken with the item, regardless of price or value.

We accept check or money order, thank you.

We also accept major charge cards through www.bidpay.com 

For a small fee, they will save you the trip downtown, to mail us a money order. Put "NONE" as item number for on-site purchases.

If your feedback is 0 or a negative number, a money order will be requested.

Ask us about Paypal before using it. We have only a personal account with them, and can not accept direct charge card payments from them.

If this is your first time visiting the Golden Goose, please know that we might wait for personal checks to clear before shipping item. Your feedback will influence this decision. Our bank now takes up to 10 days to clear checks.

We live in a very rural area, and quite a distance from our Post Office. We only ship on Saturdays.

We can e-mail you a picture if one of ours will not load, or you need other views. We need 1/2 days notice for an e-mailed picture of the ones we have, and 2 days notice if you need us to take more pictures.

Please ask permission for use of our pictures for profit, thank you. If it is an item you have purchased from us, the answer is yes! Please save it on YOUR hard drive. We delete sold items, eventually.

FEEDBACK: We think the buyer should leave the feedback first. Once the time has been taken to leave us a feedback, we will gladly leave one in return.

We hope the buyer will know and research what they are buying/bidding on. In many cases, we sell consignment items, and we are describing the item from a non-collectors point of veiw. The only thing we know about, in depth, is RS Prussia. And even the RSP has brought a few surprises!

No one can be expected to be an expert at everything. We do our best to describe the item accurately, and in an honest opinion. It is highly suggested you look at the pictures, and read the descriptions to determine if the item is what you want. If you are still unsure, please ask questions before bidding/buying. We are here to help! We want you happy!

We realize that most of you are honest folk. Please check our feedback for what others think of us. We think those reveiws and comments sum up what we are all about.

We apologize for having these terms waving in front of your face. Due to the shinanigans of some users, we had to make all these rules.

"Bid with confidence" does not mean: Bid, receive, change mind, send it back. To bid with confidence means the item is as we honestly described it. We look the item over very carefully before listing it. If we say we do not know how old it is, we really do not know. We base our Guarantee on our words and pictures for descriptions.

My 2 cents worth about paypal buyer protection: Don‘t bother. They are not going to get the money back for you if the perp has emptied his account and run off with it. Your credit card or your checking account offers you more protection. And if you still don‘t get any satisfaction, go to the FBI. (www.ic3.gov).

Failure to pay will result in appropriate feedback, a dead beat bidder claim with ebay and relisting.

Transactions and transmissions between you and me do not, in any way, give the right for either party, to add either e-mail address or phone numbers to spam or junk mailing lists.

If you take it upon yourself to insist on sending a lower amount than what is quoted or told you, the order will be cancelled, and payment returned.
